About Us

Five-O Forensics LLC was started by D.A. Best and Jason Zdilla, both current police officers, who together have over 16 years of computer forensic investigative experience and nearly 30 years in law enforcement. 

 Jason is a certified computer forensic examiner through the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS). He became a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) in 1998. He has maintained good standing after re-certifying his status in 2004 and 2007.  He holds over 400 hours of computer forensic training from numerous organizations including IACIS, National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), Guidance Software, and SEARCH. 

He graduated in 1997 from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and has been published in several local newspapers. While working as an investigator, Jason proactively revamped the computer forensic within his police department. His work in computer forensics has earned him recognition from both county prosecutors and also other forensic examiners.  Jason has served as the president and the vice-president of the Arizona Chapter of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association and also serves as a coach and mentor in the IACIS CFCE process.

 D.A. has over 16 years of law enforcement experience and is a certified computer forensic examiner through International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) and a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) since 2004. D.A. holds over 400 hours of basic and advanced computer forensic training from numerous organizations including IACIS, National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), Access Data, Guidance Software, and Search. Additionally he has extensive knowledge and experience with emerging cellular telephone forensic technology.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Career and Technical Education from Northern Arizona University. D.A. will pass on his computer knowledge and experience in easy to understand, informative presentations. In particular, he will explain Internet safety and security, identity theft and Internet predators. D.A. also serves as a coach for IACIS, and mentors other professionals who are studying in the extensive CFCE process.


 Chris has over ten years of police experience, and has handled complex Internet based investigations including working undercover. He is a seasoned Sex Crimes Detective and also an educator. Chris? skill as a forensic qualified child interviewer affords him the ability to communicate with children at a level they can easily comprehend while he gains valuable insight into issues important to youth.

After successfully earning a Master?s Degree in Education (MeD.), he quickly began teaching all levels of learners. With dynamic classroom experience ranging from developing and implementing curriculum for school age children, to his current position as an adjunct professor for the Administration of Justice Studies at Mesa Community College. Chris utilizes a sense of humor to address very serious issues from preferential sex offenders to Internet topics while maintaining sensitivity.
